From April 1, certain payments will be cashless only
JSCB “Tenge Bank” informs its clients that starting from April 1, 2026, a number of payments in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be required to be made exclusively in non-cash form.
These changes are introduced in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-246 dated December 10, 2025 “On additional measures aimed at promoting cashless payments and reducing the shadow economy”.
According to the Decree, cashless payment will be mandatory for:
• payment for government services
• payment for коммунal services
• purchase of alcohol and tobacco products
• purchase of vehicles and real estate
• purchases exceeding UZS 25 million
• other transactions предусмотренные законодательством
The implementation of these measures is aimed at expanding the use of cashless payments, increasing transparency of financial transactions, and reducing the share of the shadow economy.
Payments can be made using:
• bank cards
• mobile banking applications
• bank transfers
• electronic payment systems and terminals
Clients of JSCB “Tenge Bank” can conveniently and securely make all necessary payments via the Tenge24 mobile application, as well as using the Bank’s cards.
