Privacy Policy for the Mobile Applications of JSC “Tenge Bank”

1. General Provisions

  1. The Privacy Policy for the Mobile Applications of JSC “Tenge Bank” (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) governs the information that JSC “Tenge Bank” (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) may obtain from the User’s device(s) while the User is using the Bank’s mobile applications.
    The Bank makes every effort to ensure the security and confidentiality of the User’s personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 2, 2019, No. ZRU-547 “On Personal Data”, and establishes the procedure and conditions for processing Users’ personal data that the Bank may obtain in the course of their use of the Application.

  2. Use of the Bank’s Application signifies the User’s unconditional consent to this Policy and to the terms of processing of their personal data specified herein. If the User does not agree with these terms, they must refrain from using the Bank’s Application.

  3. The Application and services provided within the Application are made available to the User on the basis of the Universal Agreement for Comprehensive Banking Services for Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs of JSC “Tenge Bank” and the Universal Agreement for Comprehensive Banking Services for Individuals of JSC “Tenge Bank”.

2. Terms and Definitions

  1. The following terms are used in this Policy:

  • Personal Data — information recorded on electronic, paper, and/or other material media relating to a specific individual or enabling their identification;

  • Personal Data Subject (User) — an individual to whom personal data relates;

  • Personal Data Database — a database in the form of an information system containing personal data;

  • Processing of Personal Data — performance of one or more actions involving the collection, systematization, storage, modification, supplementation, use, provision, dissemination, transfer, anonymization, and destruction of personal data;

  • Bank Mobile Application (hereinafter referred to as the Application / mobile application) — specialized software developed using mobile technologies, intended for conducting banking transactions, obtaining information on account status and other information, as well as performing other actions предусмотренные by the functionality of the mobile application in online mode;

  • Third Party — any person who is not a subject, owner, and/or operator, but is related to them by circumstances or relations involving the processing of personal data.

3. User’s Personal Data 

5. When using the mobile application, the following types of information are provided by the User and collected by the mobile application: 

5.1. User’s Personal Information: 

  1. last name, first name, patronymic;
  2. gender (male/female);
  3. nationality and citizenship;
  4. date of birth;
  5. PINFL;
  6. identity document details;
  7. passport series and number;
  8. ID card number;
  9. taxpayer identification number (TIN) of the User;
  10. permanent and/or temporary registration address;
  11. place of birth;
  12. phone number;
  13. User’s photograph;
  14. email address;
  15. name of the legal entity or individual entrepreneur;
  16. legal and postal addresses;
  17. TIN of the legal entity or PINFL of the individual entrepreneur;
  18. other data of the legal entity or individual entrepreneur;
  19. passport details or other personal identification data of the legal entity or individual entrepreneur.


5.2. Financial Information for Performing Financial Transactions 

For the purpose of performing financial transactions through the Application, the Bank may collect the following information:

  1. bank account details;

  2. transaction information;

  3. credit history data and other financial data;

  4. deposit information;

  5. in-app purchase data;

  6. place of purchase data;

  7. data on purchases made using the Application;

  8. balance and transaction data of cards issued by other banks and entered (added) into the Application.

5.3. Device and Application Usage Information 

The Bank automatically collects the following information about the device on which the Application is installed:

  1. device model;

  2. operating system;

  3. application version;

  4. IP address;

  5. unique device identifier.

5.4. Location Information 

The Bank may collect information about the User’s location using GPS and other technologies in order to provide location-based content, as well as to ensure security and location control within the framework of banking transactions.

4. Use of Information  

6.The Bank uses the information collected about the User for the following purposes: 

1) provision of banking services through the mobile application, including transfers, payments, and account management; 

2) ensuring the security of funds and user accounts; 

3) providing personalized offers and notifications; 

4) compliance with legal requirements and obligations in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

7. For the purposes set forth in Clause 6 of this Policy, the Bank may engage Partners to process information, provided that relevant confidentiality agreements are concluded with such Partners. The transfer of anonymized data on the use of the Application to Partners for the purpose of improving the Application is carried out on the basis of agreements with such Partners. 

8. Information may be stored on the resources of the Bank and its Partners for the duration of contractual relations between the Bank and the User, as well as for 5 years after termination of such relations, or for a longer period if required by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

5. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties 

9. The Bank may disclose information about the User to third parties only in the following cases: 

1) with the User’s consent; 

2) when necessary for providing banking products and services to the User through the Application; 

3) in other cases in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan 

10. At the request of applicable legislation, the Bank provides User data if the collection, use, and disclosure of such data is necessary for the purpose of: 

1) compliance with applicable laws, court decisions, or lawful requests of government authorities;

2) detection, prevention, or suppression of fraud, as well as elimination of technical failures or security issues; 

3) protection of the rights, property, or safety of the Bank and Users of the Bank’s mobile application within the limits permitted by applicable law. 

11. The Bank may provide aggregated anonymized data of mobile application Users to Partners (for example, for statistical or other research purposes). 

12. When transferring User information abroad, the Bank ensures compliance with applicable legislation and this Policy by entering into agreements guaranteeing that data recipients adhere to an appropriate level of data protection. 

6. Data Security 

13. The Bank takes reasonable measures to protect User data from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. We use modern encryption methods and other technologies to ensure the security of your financial and personal data. 

14. The Bank shall not be liable for disclosure of User data to third parties in the following cases: 

1) disclosure of data by the User themselves; 

2) hacking, vulnerabilities, malware infection of the User’s device(s), or malfunctions in their operation; 

3) other circumstances beyond the Bank’s control, including failures of the Internet, communication networks, or external organizations and networks that result in unauthorized disclosure of data. 

7. User Rights 

15. The User has the right to access their personal information and to update, correct, or delete it. The User may also manage privacy settings within the Application. 

8. Amendments to the Privacy Policy 

  1. The Bank reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time, indicating the date of such amendments.
